In the labyrinth of career choices, I embraced the wisdom of a friend who said, “Why choose when you can have it all?” So, I embarked on a multifaceted journey that intertwines my roles as a Casting Director, Actor, Comic, Reiki Healer, and Activist. My diverse career reflects my commitment to utilizing a unique and rich skill set to make a positive impact.

With a foundation in casting, where I’ve served as an associate and honed my skills, I’ve discovered the profound ability to help individuals portray the best versions of themselves. My mission on this planet is to empower others to find their voice, and everything I do aligns with supporting this cause.

My background spans film, TV, radio, live performances, live streaming, casting, and producing. Currently, I thrive both behind the scenes as a casting director and in front of the camera as an actor, host, and stand-up comic. As the founder of Shannon Bobo Casting (est. 2019), I oversee projects ranging from national commercials to Disney’s LaunchPad series on Disney+ and feature films.

I’m also writing my first book, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Forgiveness, which advocates for peace through forgiveness, self-love, and healing.

As a certified Reiki healer and energy alchemist, I infuse my healing work with laughter—the same force that drives my stand-up comedy. With an overarching purpose to amplify voices, create space for everyone to be heard, and contribute to collective well-being through empowerment, collaboration, and entertainment, I look forward to the sunrise every day.
